recent search engine
research comparison.
A research
project was conducted to
compare the top 3 USA search
engines:
Google,
Yahoo, and
MSN and surprisingly
Google and Yahoo tied at a
ranking of about 2.5 out of
5.
All three companies did have
one thing in common and that
would be the lack of
satisfaction of users. None
of the search engines
reached even a 2.5 out of 5
for user satisfaction. So
what will be next?
After reviewing this recent
in dept research survey it
is believed that each of the
search engines will pick
apart their existing site
and find ways to improve and
give users what they want.
With these results in
bringing a tie with Yahoo
and Google also with some
additional research
information it was easy to
tell why Google still
dominates the American
Internet as the most used
search engine. Although many
users use the many
additional features of Yahoo
& MSN it appears that the
general user prefers a
simple and clutter free
search engine. We recommend

Windows plans new release:
Microsoft plans on releasing
the new version of Windows,
so if you had plans on
purchasing XP you may want
to wait for the latest
version. The new Windows
originally named "Windows
Longhorn" has been released
to over 10,000 programmers
and OS gurus to find and
report any bugs or flaws. In
late July of 2005 Microsoft
gave a press conference
calling the new software
"Windows Vista™" nicknamed
WinVI. This new beta for the
operating system has been
called a dud by many and has
not had very high reviews.
 Many
new features include Voice
recognition, MS Client
Protection, enhanced
desktop, and much more. The
new version has finally
chosen to use some advanced
features that Macintosh, and
Linux have been using for
years. Microsoft will also
be releasing a new version
of internet explorer. IE for
vista implements many new
features that are needed
including a phishing filter
that makes it more difficult
for hackers to direct you to
fake websites posing as a
bank or other institution.

security features throughout

has many new diagnostic
